Vistas Media Capital (VMC) is a Singapore based Media Investment entity, investing into multiple media related businesses, companies and assets in the Capital Markets (Stocks, Bonds & Options) and Private Equity space. The investments are deployed through VMC’s proprietary funds and partner funds (across different Share Classes - Equity and Fixed Income) and Special Purpose Vehicles - to maximise the Return on Investments for our investors.
Through one of our portfolio companies, Golden Ratio Films, we have a strong focus on content creation, marketing and distribution across Feature Films, Documentaries, Web Series and Short Films, across different budgets in India & Hollywood.
We create, own and manage various Media related Intellectual Properties (IPs) like the Singapore South Asian International Film Festival (Sg.SAIFF), the South Asian Film Market (SAFM), Critics Choice Short & Series Awards (CCSSA), Critics Choice Film Awards (CCFA) and Multiple other properties which are at different stages across the Media Industry value chain. We intend to launch a Block-Chain enabled “Equity Crowd Funding” platform for the South Asian diaspora globally.
VMC also runs a “Red Carpet” Investor Program wherein Accredited High Networth Individuals and Entities can invest into the fast growing Content space, as an alternative asset class to complement their regular investment portfolios, while enjoying the privileges of the glamour and glitz across the globe such as International Film Festivals, Movie World Premieres, Red Carpet Events and Award Shows.
Abhayanand Singh is the Group CEO for Vistas Media Capital Pte. Ltd. (VMC), based in Singapore and Chairman of the Singapore South Asian International Film Festival (SG.SAIFF). A seasoned Banking and Investments professional, who successfully transitioned into the exciting world of Media and Entertainment in early 2014, Abhayanand along with this Co-Founder set up VMC in Singapore with a vision of offering a robust platform for Accredited High Net-Worth Individuals and Institutional Investors to derive superior returns from the fast-growing Content Media space across Asia and USA, with special focus on India, China and Hollywood.
Abhayanand has been successful in building the VMC brand across the wider industry network through joint collaborations with seasoned Media Industry players and investing into IPs such as the Critics Choice Film Awards (CCFA) and Critics Choice Short & Series Awards (CCSSA) in India, which is a joint collaboration with the Film Critics Guild of India and Group M’s Motion Content Group.
With over 16 years of rich work experience and knowledge across Banking, Hedge Funds and Media Industry, Abhayanand Singh is well acquainted with the corporate environment with special expertise in successfully managing Financial and Media investments. He is an MBA in Marketing from India and a thorough Investment Management expert. Abhayanand Singh resides in Singapore with his family.
Nagarajan Venkatesan has 33 years of experience in corporate accounting, finance, taxation and audit.
For the last six years, he has maintained an independent practice, in his individual capacity, in internal/forensic audits.
Prior to beginning his independent practice, Mr. Venkatesan served as a member of the board of directors of Getax International Pte. Ltd., a chemicals and fertilizer trading company from April 2009 to January 2014 and as the Chief Financial Officer of Getax Ocean Trades Pte. Ltd., a trading company from June 2008 to April 2009.
He also held numerous audit, accounting and finance positions from 1990 to 2008.
Mr. Venkatesan received a Post Graduate in Commerce specialization in professional accounting from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia in 2005, a Bachelor degree in commerce from the University of Madras, India in 1987 and a Bachelor degree in general law from Annamalai University, India in 1991.
Piiyush Singh is the India Partner of Vistas Media Capital and runs the India business of Development & Production of Feature Films, Short Films and Web Series. He is also Co-Chairperson of the Singapore South Asian International Film Festival (SG.SAIFF). Piiyush has over 20 years of work experience including over 12 years in the media and entertainment industry with a hands on production experience of more than 1000 hours of content production across Films, Television, Short Films and Web Series. Piiyush has produced prestigious short films such as ‘Taandav’ and ‘Kriti’ which have won many international awards. He has also recently produced a web series titled, “Cybersquad” for a leading Digital OTT platform. Piiyush is the co-producer of successful and critically acclaimed films like ‘’Nakkash’’, ‘’Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyun Aata Hai’’, “Maadathy” and ‘’Bhonsle’’ which has successfully travelled across several International Film Festivals such as Busan, Rotterdam, Glasgow, Edinburgh and won a prestigious award at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA 2019) in Nov 2019.
Piiyush has personally developed, along with a team of seasoned writers, over 20 projects which are at different stages of the production life cycle - across Feature Films, Mini Series and Web Series.
Intikhab is spearheading the company’s initiative of blockchain based equity crowdfunding platform globally. Intikhab has over 20 years of experience across Investment Management, Real Estate and Technology PE Investments. He has worked with Telecom Companies like Vodafone, with Banks like HSBC and has been an entrepreneur for the last few years with specialised expertise across various industries including Media & Entertainment. Intikhab has a proven track record of successfully building and executing strategies for new businesses, strong understanding of new technologies and executing complex operational models with ease.
Intikhab is based in Mumbai (India) and has also been an advisor to a number of South Asian Private Investors actively seeking Alternative Investment opportunities across high growth sectors.
Saurabh Gupta is the Co-Founder and Board Member of Vistas Media Acquisition Company Inc (VMAC), which is a Nasdaq listed Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC).
He is also the Founder & Managing Director of M! Capital Ventures, a Singapore based speciality Media Investments firm and Managing Partner of The Asian Film Fund, which is based out of Mauritius.
He is a 20-year veteran in the world of banking and investment management, having previously held senior roles across Bank Julius Baer, ANZ Bank & ABN AMRO Bank in Singapore. He started his banking career with Citibank in Singapore in 2002. Prior to joining Citibank, Saurabh began his career with Siemens AG in Munich, Germany for 2 years, after his MBA.
Within the last 5 years, his Media Investment Ventures have jointly Invested into a number of Films across Productions and Distributions in Bollywood and Hollywood, some of which have been successfully released in over 70 countries, including China theatrically and across several leading OTT/Digital platforms worldwide.
Saurabh was an adjunct faculty at Singapore Management University’s School of Business teaching Financial Services Marketing in 2008 and is a qualified Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA™) from the CAIA Association, Massachusetts. He is an MBA in marketing from NMIMS, Mumbai, India and has a degree in Economics from University of Delhi, India.
Raj Nayak is a Media and Entertainment Industry veteran with over 30 Years of experience within the Television, Broadcasting and Content Space.
In early 2019, Raj retired from Viacom India as Chief Operating Officer after working for 8 years including his 6 years as CEO Colors Television and Digital Channel.
Before joining Viacom, Raj was the CEO of NDTV Media Ltd for 7 years and was responsible for its massive growth over that period.
A significant part of his initial corporate years were spent at Star India Pvt Ltd (Star TV) where he joined as part of the new team formed when Star entered India in 1992-93 and over the next 10 years, across various roles and titles, Raj left Star TV as the Executive Vice President – Sales and Marketing for Asia Networks in end 2002.
Daniel Santos is the Founder & CEO of Digitizing Assets in Singapore. His key focus is on private placements and Listing on Canadian and Nordic exchanges as well as developing Digital Assets and its ecosystem in Asia and the Americas. Daniel has spent 15 years working with leading Investment Banks namely Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and Citigroup in London, Standard Chartered in Singapore and at Renaissance Capital in Moscow. Daniel is on the board of several entities such as Xfinite Global, Robot Cache, S.L., SingularityNET and HNC – Hellenic Coin.
